We are seeking a compassionate, confident, and organized Social Studies Teacher to join our middle school team for grades 6 through 8.
Your Role Will Include
- Teaching Social Studies to grades 6, 7, and 8 with two sections per grade level.
- Planning and delivering standards-aligned instruction using Arizona Academic Standards that is engaging, rigorous, and age-appropriate.
- Using formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Differentiating instruction to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of diverse learners.
- Integrating literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving into Social Studies instruction.
- Establishing and maintaining a structured, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Collaborating with colleagues across grade levels and content areas to support interdisciplinary learning.
- Communicating regularly and professionally with students, families, and school staff.
- Participating in team meetings, professional development, curriculum planning, and school events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Arizona Department of Education Certification (preferred).
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Creative and engaging instructional style with a genuine passion for teaching.
- Collaborative team player with a positive, professional demeanor.
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Salary and Benefits
- Pay: $56,000 to $64,000 per year.

Location & Shift Times
- Paragon Science Academy, Chandler.
- Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM.
