Northwoods Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a dependable and organized Cook to join our team full-time. We are looking for someone who takes pride in preparing quality meals and creating a positive dining experience for our residents.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary needs
- Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are followed
- Inspect special diet trays for accuracy
- Work with the Dietitian and dietary team as needed
- Assist with kitchen and food service duties
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking or dietary experience preferred
- Healthcare or nursing facility experience is a plus
- Reliable, team-oriented, and friendly
- Strong communication skills
- Willing to train the right candidate
