Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is excited to welcome a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to join our Pediatric Cardiology Department at Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a PRN position with a call rotation, offering flexibility while still being part of a dedicated, patient-centered team.

As a Cardiac Echo Sonographer, you will be responsible for:

• Performing high-quality diagnostic examinations of the heart using advanced ultrasound techniques, ensuring accurate imaging and reporting.

• Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to support patient care and treatment decisions.

• Providing cross-coverage and as-needed back-up support to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department to maintain seamless operations.

• Delivering compassionate patient care by preparing and educating patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.

• Maintaining equipment, documenting procedures accurately, and adhering to department protocols and quality standards.

Cardiac Echo Sonographer, Diagnostic Cardiology Department, Experience;

• 1-2 Years of Cardiac Sonographer Experience

Experience Requirements:

• Adult Echo credentials through either ARDMS or CCI are required within 18 months of hire.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and clinical teams.

• Previous experience in cardiac sonography preferred, but not required — we provide a supportive environment for growth and learning.

• Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) (ARDMS-RDCS) - ARDMS
• Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCCS) - CCI - Cardiovascular
