Position:  Production IT Coordinator (Manufacturing Experience Required)
Pay Rate : $24-$28/hr
Location: Bedford Park, IL
Schedule: Monday - Friday - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Employment Type: Contract to Hire 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional duties may be assigned.

• Manage and maintain all electronic tracking and planning systems, including Smartsheets and Google Workspace.
• Ensure tracking resources, schedules, and planning tools remain organized, accurate, and accessible to all team members.
• Support intra-company communication through collaboration and automation platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and improve reporting systems that provide meaningful production and tracking data.
• Facilitate regular automated reporting and promote accountability through tracking and collaboration tools.
• Continuously improve planning and tracking platforms based on operational needs and management feedback.
• Provide IT support for hardware, software, servers, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and escalate complex issues to external IT consultants when necessary.
• Maintain inventory and deployment of laptops, tablets, PCs, and related hardware.
• Coordinate acquisition of new hardware and ensure equipment meets operational requirements.
• Become a subject matter expert in Smartsheets, Google Workspace, and related production support systems.
• Identify, document, and report nonconformances in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, company quality policies, and related procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of IT hardware, software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong spreadsheet, database, and reporting skills.
• Experience with Smartsheets and Google Workspace preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Effective project management and communication skills.
• Experience supporting production or manufacturing environments preferred.
