Role Description The Associate Financial Advisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Jacksonville, FL, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role supports senior advisors in delivering comprehensive financial planning, including gathering and analyzing client information, preparing financial plans, and supporting investment and retirement strategy recommendations. Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in client meetings, documenting action items, maintaining client records and follow-up tasks, and coordinating implementation of financial solutions in partnership with internal and external resources. The Associate Financial Advisor will also monitor client portfolios, prepare performance and review materials, assist with risk management and insurance-related analysis, and ensure a high level of client service and responsiveness. Collaboration with the advisory team, adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements, and ongoing professional development are core aspects of this position. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Financial Advisory skills, with the ability to support comprehensive, client-centered strategies. Candidates should possess knowledge of Finance and Investments, including portfolio fundamentals and basic investment products. Candidates should possess expertise or interest in Retirement Planning, including understanding of retirement income strategies and tax-aware planning concepts. Candidates should possess strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and build trust with clients. Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred; progress toward or interest in professional designations (e.g., CFP®, CFA) is beneficial. Comfort with financial planning software, CRM tools, and standard office technology; ability to learn new systems quickly.
