The Warehouse Customer Specialist is detail-oriented, with the ability to organize workflows and prioritize tasks. Rotational Saturday work is required (one out of every 2 or 3 Saturdays). Saturday hours are 6:30 AM - Noon; Monday and Friday hours begin at 8:30 AM.Warehouse Customer Specialists take professional ownership of customers' inventory fulfillment in a fast-paced environment. Tasks include but are not limited to: computer-based order processing, physical retrieval of inventory, reorganization of stock, staging of inventory, and scheduling of inbound and outbound carriers.Warehouse Customer Specialists accurately follow a supervisor's direction but also possess the ability to succeed with minimal oversight.The Warehouse Customer Specialist Position is On-Location.Responsibilities and Duties:Receiving, Processing, and Prioritization of Customer InventoryGreeting the Public in a Courteous and Timely MannerLoading, Unloading, Verifying Count & Condition of, Carefully Handling and Properly Storing Customer InventoryResponding to Customer InquiriesCollaborating with Warehouse Manager to Direct Warehouse Associates' TasksActively Participating in Ongoing Training Programs with Satisfactory ResultsAdhering to R&S Logistics' Standards of Quality and Customer ServiceSafely Operating a Forklift and/or Order PickerAssisting in Warehouse Maintenance & Improvements, Including Installation of Pallet RackingPerforming Duties Customarily Assigned to Warehouse Associates on an As-Needed BasisAdhering to all Industry-Specific and Site-Specific Safety RequirementsAccurately Reporting Time Worked, Adhering to Clock-In/Clock-Out ProceduresAdhering to R&S Logistics' Employee HandbookQualifications and Skills:R&S Logistics Warehouse Customer Specialists possess the following:Strong Customer Service SkillsAttention to DetailStrong Written and Verbal Communication SkillsAbility to Organize and Prioritize Tasks in a Fast-Paced EnvironmentAbility to Work in both a Team Environment and IndependentlyCognitive Ability and Manual Dexterity to Satisfactorily Perform Duties and Complete TasksNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
