Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the dining room, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery

• Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse dietary needs and preferences of our residents

• Supervise and train a team of dietary aides, servers, and cooks to provide exceptional customer service and food quality

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dining environment, adhering to all applicable regulations and standards

• Collaborate with the facility's administration to develop and implement policies and procedures related to food service

• Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and supplies to ensure optimal resource allocation

• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures

• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to foster a positive and welcoming dining environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in food service management or related field preferred

• 2+ years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Sound knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Basic computer skills and proficiency in food service software
