This opportunity is located at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville, a verified adult ACS-COT Level I trauma center. Join 7 double-boarded trauma/acute care surgeons + 4 orthopedic traumatologists. 24-hour in-house APP coverage (11 APP providers). 16-bed surgical/trauma ICU with daily multi-disciplinary rounds. 32-bed dedicated TACS unit. New state of the art ED with four trauma bays. 227,000+ ED visits annually (153,000 at Gainesville campus). 3,200+ annual trauma patients in TQIP registry. 2,400+ Acute Care Surgery cases annually. Home to an ACGME-accredited General Surgery Residency Program. Candidate Requirements Acute Care Certification (ACNP) required for NPs/Board Certification via NCCPA for Physician Assistants.
