RN Educator, Interventional Radiology

Role: Clinical Nurse Educator, Interventional Radiology Responsibilities Lead orientation, onboarding, and ongoing education for nurses and clinical staff in Interventional Radiology. Mentor staff, provide bedside coaching, and support evidence-based nursing practices. Collaborate with leadership to identify educational needs, develop competencies, and enhance quality, safety, and patient experience. Design and deliver training programs, skills development, and competency assessments to promote professional growth and specialty certification. Maintain clinical expertise through direct patient care when needed, promoting excellence in nursing practice. Qualifications & Skills Current Illinois RN license; BSN required, Master's preferred. 3-5 years of recent procedural nursing experience (Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, etc.). Previous education, preceptor, or staff development experience preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
