Job Description
Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Come Grow With Us!
Are you a Speech-Language Pathologist who loves working with children, enjoys thinking creatively, and wants to be part of a practice that is continuing to grow and develop new programs?
We are a therapist-owned, multidisciplinary practice providing Occupational, Physical, Speech-Language, Feeding, and specialized consultation services. Our goal is not simply to provide therapy—we want to help children and families build communication skills that carry over into their everyday lives.
We are looking for an SLP who wants to do great pediatric therapy and be part of what comes next. As we continue expanding our outpatient services, consultation programs, community partnerships, caregiver education, AAC services, groups, camps, and other specialty programs, we are looking for therapists who want to help shape that growth.
Our Speech-Language Pathologists work with children with a wide variety of communication needs, including receptive and expressive language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, social-pragmatic communication needs, motor speech disorders, feeding concerns, and complex communication needs.
Experience working with children with Autism and/or children who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is a strong plus! This may include experience with total communication, low-tech AAC, picture-based communication, and high-tech Speech Generating Devices (SGDs).
You'll have the opportunity to work in a practice with:
- A supportive multidisciplinary team.
- Pediatric-focused treatment spaces and sensory gyms.
- Opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Strong emphasis on caregiver education and involvement.
- Opportunities to work with children with complex communication needs.
- Opportunities to develop specialized clinical interests.
- Growing AAC and Communication Consultation services.
- Feeding and mealtime services.
- Literacy and reading intervention opportunities.
- School and daycare partnerships.
- Groups, camps, workshops, and other nontraditional therapy programs.
- Growing consultation and community-based programs.
- Leadership that understands therapy because our practice is therapist-owned.
We are looking for an SLP who is dependable, organized, collaborative, and able to independently manage their caseload and documentation responsibilities. Strong time-management skills, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with families and other professionals are important to our team.
We especially value therapists who can work independently without working in isolation —clinicians who take ownership of their caseload and responsibilities while recognizing the value of collaboration across disciplines.
If you have a particular area of Speech-Language Pathology that you are passionate about, we want to hear about it. We love giving therapists opportunities to bring their interests, creativity, and expertise into the practice and help us develop new programs and services.
If you are looking for a place where you can love being an SLP, build relationships with families, work alongside other disciplines, and have the opportunity to turn your professional interests into something more—we would love to meet you.
A Few of Our Benefits (Full-Time) Include:
- Paid Time Off (PTO).
- Major medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Paid holidays.
- 401(k) with 100% employer match up to 3%.
- Supplemental insurance options.
- 50% employer-paid health insurance premium.
- Flexible scheduling.
- Professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility for NC licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage a pediatric caseload and documentation responsibilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with families and other professionals.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
We value clinicians who understand that communication looks different for every child and who are passionate about helping children develop functional, meaningful communication—whether through spoken language, gestures, signs, pictures, AAC, or a combination of communication methods.
Apply today and tell us a little about what you love most about Speech-Language Pathology, the areas of pediatrics you are most passionate about!
