The Mail Handler position in Itasca, IL offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-volume mail processing environment. This role is key to ensuring efficient handling and distribution of mail, providing valuable experience in logistics and operational workflows.

Mail Handler Responsibilities:

• Transfer mail from containers to trays and onto conveyor systems to facilitate processing
• Stack and organize mail trays onto racks for efficient handling and distribution
• Maintain pace with automated mail processing machines to meet productivity standards
• Pull trays of mail for packaging and shipment preparation
• Package mail and accurately place completed items onto pallets for transport
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines diligently
• Perform repetitive lifting, moving, and handling of mail and trays throughout the shift

Requirements for Mail Handler:

• Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 40 pounds
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods, including entire shifts
• Ability to perform repetitive motions involving lifting, bending, reaching, and stacking
• Prior warehouse, mail processing, or production experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work efficiently within a team
• Ability to follow instructions and meet productivity targets
