In collaboration with medical providers and the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes. Responsibilities Assess patient condition during admission and each shift as scheduled and/or as needed, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate patient needs, resolving them proactively. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan that promotes and supports recovery. Serve as the interface between healthcare providers and community support systems to coordinate ongoing care needs for specialized patient groups. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license. Registered Nurse Diploma.
