Role Description This part-time remote Payroll Manager role is responsible for overseeing accurate and timely payroll processing for a designated employee population. The Payroll Manager will review and approve payroll runs, verify time and attendance data, and ensure proper application of compensation policies. Daily tasks include managing payroll adjustments, responding to employee payroll inquiries, coordinating with HR and Finance, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role also involves monitoring garnishments, payroll taxes, and benefits-related deductions, maintaining detailed records, and identifying process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency. The Payroll Manager will use payroll systems and tools to generate reports, support audits, and provide clear, professional communication to internal stakeholders.\n
Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Payroll Administration and Payroll Management, with experience overseeing regular payroll cycles and adjustments.

• Strong knowledge of Garnishments and Payroll Taxes, including regulatory requirements and accurate calculation and remittance.
\n
• Experience managing Employee Benefits-related payroll deductions and coordinating with benefits and HR teams.
\n
• Familiarity with payroll software and HRIS systems; strong MS Excel skills for reporting and reconciliation.

• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
\n
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on providing clear guidance and responsive support to employees and stakeholders.
\n
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
\n
• Relevant education in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field; professional payroll certification (e.g., CPP or FPC) is a plus.
