Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Shift Details: Day Shift | 3x12 Hours | 05:00 AM – 05:30 PM
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Orientation: 40 Hours (Non-Billable)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (California) required
• Minimum 2 years L&D experience required (postpartum experience required)
• Strong experience in labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:3
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and emergency response skills

• ACLS required
• BLS required
• NRP required
• AWHONN Intermediate required
• AWHONN Advanced preferred

• Provide direct care for laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor fetal and maternal status during labor and delivery
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Administer medications and emergency interventions as needed
• Educate patients on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Collaborate with OB physicians, anesthesiology, and neonatal teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic system
• Float to similar units as required
• Ensure compliance with safety and clinical protocols
