Job Summary
The Organization : Transform South Sudan is a Non Profit organization based in Brentwood, Tennessee. We were founded in 2016 to help financially support and enable the incredible work of James Baak. As one of the Lost Boys of Sudan, James walked over 1,000 miles to find safety in a refugee camp. In the camp, James would respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ and also receive a high school education. Years later he would return home to share those two gifts (the gospel & education) with his fellow countrymen in an effort to transform his nation. Our USA Based 501C3 exists to help fulfill this mission.
Job Responsibilities
The Position : We are seeking our first ever Executive Director. We have grown steadily over the years and the time has come to no longer be a volunteer led organization. Our Executive Director will report to the USA Board and will lead the organization to fulfill its mission. Working with our board members, committee members and strategic partners, the Executive Director will ensure that our international programs are operating with excellence and that they are properly funded through the support of our USA based donors.
Qualifications
The Fit : We are looking for someone who has a track record of success in building an organization and working effectively with teams to accomplish it’s objectives. Prior experience in both ‘for-profit’ and ‘non-profit’ leadership is required. We are praying for God to provide someone that is committed to Jesus, is highly relational, can think strategically and is also comfortable and capable in a fundraising environment. Our work is accomplished in South Sudan so experience and familiarity within Africa is also a positive.

Benefits
The Compensation : Starting salary for the Executive Director role will be $120,000 / year.
Performance based bonuses will be available starting in year #2.
