Lending Origination Specialist II

The Lending Origination Specialist II performs a variety of tasks to include the researching, reviewing, and interpreting existing and pending laws and regulations, which potentially affect the assigned regulatory area, such as CRA, HMDA, etc. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Research, review, and interpret existing and pending laws and regulations, which potentially affect the assigned regulatory area, such as CRA, HMDA, etc.
• Work closely with Compliance to meet the requires of CRA and HMDA reporting requirements.
• Coordinates with loan officers and assistants regarding HMDA and CRA applicable loans.
• Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memorandums.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and/or legal documents.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or its equivalents is required.

Computer Skills

• MS Office programs
