We are hiring Cable Technicians for commercial big box retail rollout projects nationwide. Technicians travel out of our Lowell, Arkansas hub to project sites and work as part of a mobile installation crew handling structured cabling, wireless access points, network hardware, and camera systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull, terminate, test, and label Cat5 and Cat6 network cabling
- Install wireless access points (WAPs) throughout commercial retail locations
- Build out and install network cabinets and racks
- Mount and install cameras, including analog to IP camera conversions
- Run low voltage data and power wiring for auxiliary equipment such as public video monitors
- Operate scissor lifts or man lifts to access ceiling, rack, and overhead locations
- Work overnight inside occupied commercial retail environments with minimal disruption to store operations
- Travel from our Lowell, Arkansas hub to project sites across the region and work on-site with the crew for the length of the project
- Follow site safety procedures and complete required documentation
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with structured cabling, Cat5/Cat6 termination, or WAP installation
- Camera install or IP camera conversion experience preferred
- Lift experience required, aerial or scissor lift certification preferred
- Willing and able to travel to Lowell, Arkansas and out to project sites nationwide
- Comfortable working overnight shifts with heavy overtime
- Own hand tools and reliable transportation to the Lowell, Arkansas hub
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
