Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Miami, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4 Day Schedule: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including joint replacements, orthopedic, spine, and more. The RN will ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preoperative assessments and patient education.
• Assist in surgical procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes in condition.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams to ensure quality care.
• Participate in the preparation and turnover of operating rooms.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years current experience in an acute care operating room setting.
• Experience with orthopedic procedures, including knee and hip replacements, is required.
