Quality Technician

Job Title: Quality Technician Join our dynamic team as a Quality Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring that only the finest products reach our customers. As part of a collaborative team, you will be instrumental in bringing our clients' labels and packaging to life, helping them stand out in a competitive market. Shift 8am-4:30pm (some flexibility) Pay 22-26/hr (Depends on experience. May consider higher pay for direct experience) Responsibilities Test and inspect products at various stages of the production process and compile data from these tests. Assist with maintaining the quality and reliability of products. Support the Operational Excellence Manager with ISO and BRC quality systems. Help increase awareness among staff to eliminate defects based on findings. Work closely with all departments to improve the level of service and quality provided to our customers. Assist with developing and maintaining SOPs in compliance with ISO standards. Identify, recommend, and implement areas for Lean improvement or modification. Essential Skills Inspection Quality control Quality inspection Visual inspection Quality check Production QC Additional Skills & Qualifications High school degree or equivalent. 0-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification in basic HACCP. Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English. Preferred: Two or more years of direct work experience in a quality control capacity in the printing industry. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and BRC quality systems is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a clean and organized printing manufacturer facility with shifts available from 8am-4pm or 11pm-6am, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
