Automation Project Specialist

The Automation Project Specialist provides comprehensive support to Equipment Specialists and Sales Representatives by processing and monitoring equipment orders through SXe, Salesforce, and Smartsheet. Responsibilities Review equipment orders for accuracy and completeness, including verification of resale pricing, cost calculations, and supporting documentation. Process equipment orders from receipt through completion, ensuring timely and accurate order entry. Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to facilitate customer deposits and obtain necessary credit approvals. Coordinate with Accounts Payable to manage vendor deposit invoices, final invoicing and customer billing activities. Generate work orders for the Dispatch Team to initiate equipment startup and installation activities. Monitor and run system-generated reports multiple times daily, including SXC reports, to track order status and identify issues requiring attention. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required during peak business periods. Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred, or one to three years of related experience and/or training; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve routine operational issues. Work Arrangement This is a hybrid role with required on-site attendance.
