Packaging Department Lead

· Assist the Packaging Supervisor by:

-Ensuring daily packaging objectives are achieved and departments are running efficiently

-Ensuring all packaging activities are compliant with cGMPs, SOPs, and safety policies

-Reviewing and verifying that all packaging documents are completed in accordance with Company/FDA policies and procedures.

-Working directly and supporting all personnel to ensure departmental success

-Assisting with difficult machine trouble shooting

· Assisting with equipment repair and/or replacement

· Alerting the Packaging Supervisor of quality issues and assisting with QA investigations and corrective   actions are implemented

· Approve new employee training completion and certification (where applicable)

· Monitoring and providing the Packaging Supervisor with training progress reports

· Working with Packaging Supervisor to resolve packaging issues and assist with resolution implementation

· Maintaining a professional and safe work environment

- Effectively working, interacting and communicating with co-workers and lead/supervisor.

- Demonstrating professional behavior while working in a team approach when managing challenging situations

- Assisting in providing a safe, secure and comfortable environment for all staff

- Performs other duties as assigned
