Primary Duties and Responsibilities Essential Performance Requirements* Coordinates, facilitates, and provides online course developmentservices and faculty training Coordinates online instructional design projects from inceptionto completion Provides instructional design and course development support toonline faculty Assists in developing online instructional strategies, coursematerials, and assessments in accordance with researched bestpractices Provides support for online faculty certification training Designs, develops, facilitates, and maintains training curriculumfor TCC Connect instructors Researches and recommends online learning technologysolutions Provides regular updates to department leadership regardingonline course development projects Service Excellence Participates on behalf of the College in external communityorganizations and associations as assigned to support the essentialperformance requirements Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, andfollows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of theworksite Completes all required training and professional developmentsessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC) Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of theCollege Supervision Works under the supervision of the assigned department leader *Performs Other Related Tasks as Required The duties listed are intended only as illustrations of thevarious types of work that may be performed. Required Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree Two (2) years' working experience related to the EssentialPerformance Requirements, which must include secondary orpost‑secondary teaching experience Preferred Qualifications Two (2) years’ working experience in online secondary orpost-secondary teaching At least one (1) year’s working experience with proprietarylearning technology solutions At least one (1) year’s working experience with learningmanagement systems At least one (1) year’s working experience teaching in ordesigning instructional content for STEM disciplines Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of web design and HTML Knowledge of research methodologies and techniques, and processesand standards for planning and implementing instructional designand development, instructional technology, and technology-based andnon-technology-based media and materials Knowledge of learning theory, instructional strategies,curriculum standards, and assessment design Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonalrelationships, including strong listening, verbal, and writtencommunication Skilled in using computer applications and enterprise systems,including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentationsoftware Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment Ability to analyze data and provide sound recommendations basedon policy, procedure, practice, and existing regulations Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks while ensuringaccurate and timely completion and exhibiting strong attention todetail and organization Physical Demands and Work Environment Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of thosethat must be met by an employee to successfully perform theessential functions of this job.
