Position Summary: The Athletics Equipment staff is responsible for the issuance, maintenance and upkeep of the equipment and apparel for varsity sport programs and various other athletic departments. This is a part-time position, scheduled to work 29.9 hours per week. Qualifications: Experience working with collegiate athletics, focus on equipment preferred Bachelor’s degree Be Bold. Knowledge, Skills and Ability: Effective written and verbal communication Strong organizational and problem solving skills needed The scope of this position requires weekend, evening and possible holiday hours Thrive in fast paced environment, possess a keen attention to details, and ability to multi-task Ability to lift at least 50 pounds Essential Functions: Provide laundry services for the athletics department Distribute clean laundry to student athletes, staff and coaches Provide after hour assistance for competition, practice, and events Assist other staff members with daily assignments and projects Inventory athletic apparel and equipment and distribute to proper departments Assist with set up for athletic competitions and practice Choose Duke How to Apply: Interested Applicants should submit a cover letter, resume, and list of three references online at careers.duke.edu Minimum Qualifications Education Work requires analytical, communication and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree program. Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $20.84.
