Schedule

This is a night shift position from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Block scheduling is not guaranteed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be working in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU), providing care for patients with common diagnoses such as neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions including COPD, DKA, sepsis, myocardial infarction, and post-operative care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage IVs
• Monitor patients' vital signs and condition
• Provide patient education and support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Utilize specialty equipment including temp pacers, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in New York
• 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• NURSYS report for license verification
• Documented travel nursing experience preferred
