What You Will Do Lead civil and environmental engineering projects from concept through construction Oversee design development including plans, drawings, reports, and permitting Ensure quality and technical excellence across project deliverables Collaborate with clients, agencies, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff Conduct field visits and provide construction oversight Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations What You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months 6+ years of experience in design and construction oversight Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design tools Strong communication and leadership skills Experience with permitting and environmental compliance Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites Our preferred candidate will also bring: Experience working with municipalities or public agencies Familiarity with NEPA, SWPPP, NPDES, or related frameworks Project management training or certification Benefits Full time WSB employees qualify for competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, company paid short‑and long‑term disability, 401K with match, paid time off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
