This entry-level role includes loading, unloading, and stocking building materials. This reliable team member assists their team when needed and is committed to safety.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesLoad or unload building materials and components as assigned.Move or stock materials in a safe fashion as assigned by supervisor.Follow specific instructions of direct supervisor.Assist other yard or manufacturing associates as required by location management.Operate equipment in a safe manner.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.Minimum RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.High school diploma or GED required.No experience required. Prior experience in manual labor-intensive positions preferred.CompetenciesAbility to work in extreme weather conditions.Ability to follow explicit instructions.Ability to lift up to and including 100 lbs. repetitively.Use tape measure other basic equipment as assigned.Work Environment / Physical ActivitySubject to primarily outside locations with potentially extreme temperature and weather variations.Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds frequently.At BFS, we want you and your career to be greater than what you ever could have expected.
