Entry-Level Dental Assistant (English/Spanish)

Location: Goleta, CA

Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site

Position Summary

Qualifications & Skills Required

High School Diploma or GED

Bilingual in Spanish and English

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude

Interest in building a career within the healthcare field

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer proficiency and data entry experience

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

6+ months of healthcare experience

Experience in a call center, medical office, dental office, or other patient-facing environment

Medical Assistant Diploma preferred

Dental Assistant Diploma preferred

X-Ray Certification preferred

Experience working with diverse patient populations

Key Responsibilities

Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments

Manage inbound and outbound patient calls

Update and maintain accurate patient demographic and scheduling information

Communicate professionally with patients, vendors, providers, and internal staff in both English and Spanish

Resolve patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service

Support clinic workflow and patient flow through effective coordination

Complete data entry and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies and procedures

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Barbara, CA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
