OTR Flatbed Company driver (W-2) Job in Astoria, NY by HMD Trucking

Requirements - 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- 6 months of flatbed experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
- CPM $0.70 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles (company drivers only)
- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150

Hit the road with HMD Trucking out of Astoria, NY, operating as an OTR Solo CDL A Flatbed driver hauling freight coast to coast. Our 500+ unit fleet keeps you moving with sleeper-equipped tractors, APUs, inverters, and removable rider seats, plus dedicated in-house maintenance.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage flatbed loads safely and efficiently
- Secure cargo, apply tarps, and follow DOT regulations
- Communicate with dispatch for schedule updates
