Production Support Assistant

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Start time varies based on production needs, but typically starting between 7:00AM and 8:00AM

Select Staffing is hiring a Production Support Assistant for a food manufacturing company. This role supports the Production Department with administrative tasks, reporting, scheduling, and recordkeeping to help ensure smooth daily operations.

Job Duties

• Provide administrative support to Production Supervisors and Managers.
• Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
• Enter and track production and inventory data.
• Assist with scheduling, attendance tracking, and employee documentation.
• Prepare daily production reports and update production metrics.
• Coordinate communication between Production, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and HR.
• Prepare reports and materials for meetings.
• Ensure production records comply with GMP, SQF, food safety, and company standards.
• Assist with special projects as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous administrative or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with data entry and recordkeeping.
• Knowledge of GMP, SQF, and food safety standards is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance.
