Mining Technology Support Specialist

Mining Technology Support Specialist Salt Lake City, UT Full-time Wheeler Technology provides state‑of‑the‑art productivity, safety, equipment health, autonomy and ruggedized network solutions for mine and construction sites. The Support Specialist has a critical role and has responsibility spanning multiple functions. Must be a self‑starter, highly organized, and can solve complex problems with limited supervision. Duties & Responsibilities Ensure internal workforce, tools, and equipment are compliant to internal, industry, and customer‑site requirements; serve as the subject matter expert on how to achieve compliance and act as the owner for reporting tools Provide oversight to shelf stock quantities, to include reorder recommendations Maintain tool and vehicle inventory, including scheduling repairs/upgrades Calibrations, and procuring new/upgraded equipment as needed Engage in daily safety meetings Install, upgrade and maintain technology on the customer HME fleet Perform quality PM’s on customer HME fleet Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Self‑starter and complex problem solver – ability to deliver results with limited supervision Proficient in computer software systems including Microsoft Office 365 and ERP systems Ability to interact with the customer daily Excellent motivational skills and works well with a team but also able to work alone Effective communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to customer satisfaction Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to pay strong attention to detail Ability to interact effectively in multi‑disciplined, multi‑cultural team environments including working with customers in planning, operations, and maintenance of parts, service, sales, and support personnel Effective team participation skills Education and Experience Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience or an associate’s degree. Mining experience preferred.
