Treasury Manager

This role is part of a business separation where the Borates business is moving away from Rio Tinto and becoming a standalone company. The Treasury Manager will help transition existing treasury activities and build the treasury function for the new organization.

What We Are Looking For:

• Strong corporate treasury experience across cash management, liquidity forecasting, banking relationships, and treasury operations .
• Experience managing multiple entities, global cash flows, and FX exposure .
• Someone comfortable working independently and building/improving processes.
• Experience with treasury controls, audits, reporting, and process automation.
• Ability to work with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, and banking partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily cash positioning and liquidity forecasting.
• Support treasury carve-out/separation activities.
• Manage banking relationships, payment processes, and treasury controls.
• Support global cash movement and FX management.
• Build treasury reporting, processes, and improvements.
• Become the main treasury contact for the standalone business.

Location

The role is expected to operate on a primarily remote / hybrid basis with occasional travel to Boron, CA and Wilmington, CA as required.

The long-term plan is for the finance organisation to operate from a future office location within the North San Fernando Valley to Santa Clarita area.
