Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Chico, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing care in a Level II Trauma center, primarily covering weekends. The nurse will manage pre-op and post-op patients for surgical procedures and occasionally handle pre-op care for gastrointestinal patients. The role requires current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing and EPIC electronic medical records experience. Job Details Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing, current BLS certification, EPIC EMR experience, minimum of 2 years of PACU experience, and 1 year of recent travel assignment experience. Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Additional Information: Enloe Medical Center accepts agency staff who are W-2 employees of their perspective agency. The position involves float responsibilities as needed, with coverage primarily on weekends. Scrubs are provided. Candidates should have a successful track record with prior travel assignments. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Peri-Anesthesia nurse (CPAN) and/or Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia (CAPA) certification.
