This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, responding to inquiries, and providing guidance on auto, home, life, and commercial insurance solutions. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing coverage options, preparing quotes, processing policy changes, and assisting with claims support as needed. The Account Manager will proactively follow up with prospects and existing clients, schedule and conduct appointments, and maintain accurate records in agency systems. The role also involves collaborating with the agency team to meet sales and service goals while ensuring a positive customer experience.QualificationsStrong customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.Sales and consultative skills to identify client needs, present solutions, and support agency growth.Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple accounts, follow up promptly, and maintain detailed documentation.Comfort with office technology, including CRM or agency management systems, email, and basic office software.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills for reviewing policies, handling changes, and supporting claims processes.High level of integrity, reliability, and a client-focused mindset.Ability to work on-site in Clio, MI and collaborate effectively in a small team environment.Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or a related customer-facing role is preferred; applicable state insurance licensing or willingness to obtain is beneficial.
