Registered Nurse - Neuro Critical Care - Full-Time Nights

Role Overview The Staff Nurse provides high-level, technical patient care within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. They are responsible for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, utilizing the nursing process, and collaborating with team members to ensure appropriate, safe, and effective treatment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect nursing care, supervising team members and ensuring adherence to standards of care. Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team, fostering a collaborative environment. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely, safe medication and IV administration. Support patient education and promote a safe, therapeutic setting. Take responsibility for professional development and performance improvement. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current Texas nursing license and Basic Life Support certification. Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program. Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care. Ability to handle confidential information and work effectively in a high-pressure setting. Additional Requirements: Strong communication, relationship-building, and teamwork skills; commitment to continuous improvement; physical ability to perform job duties, including handling, lifting, and moving patients as needed.
