Inventory Associate

Monthly Pay: $4,515 - $5,985 USD per month Summary Each shift begins with the open queue: inventory status questions, discrepancy notices, and update requests waiting for review. The Inventory Associate compares system quantities and availability details so operations partners can make informed decisions and maintain dependable delivery schedules. Working under an inventory operations team lead, the associate coordinates with warehouse contacts, carrier contacts, and the operations team. This fully remote role is performed work from home in New Hampshire, United States. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary. Job Responsibilities Monitor an operations ticket queue, shared emails, and internal requests for inventory status questions, quantity differences, and item availability updates. Review item identifiers, location details, shipment references, and quantity information before beginning an update or requesting clarification. Compare inventory status across a Warehouse management system such as Oracle Warehouse Management and a Transportation management system such as Descartes. Enter clear system updates that reflect approved quantity changes, item locations, availability notes, and the source of each request. Coordinate with warehouse contacts to confirm counted quantities, receiving updates, transfers, and other status changes shown in operating systems. Contact carrier contacts or operations teammates when shipment movement may affect expected availability or delivery scheduling. Follow up on incomplete requests through the assigned queue and elevate unresolved quantity differences to the inventory operations team lead. Flag repeated item, location, or system update issues to the operations team lead with concise notes and supporting references. Prepare routine inventory status summaries for operations teammates, highlighting open questions, completed updates, and items needing review. Maintain organized queue notes and handoff details so teammates can continue work without repeating research or contacting the same partner unnecessarily. Meet quality expectations through accurate updates, timely turnaround, complete notes, and appropriate follow-up on open inventory questions. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. No experience required; related experience preferred in logistics, inventory support, warehouse coordination, or operations support. Familiarity with inventory quantities, item identifiers, location details, shipment status, and delivery schedule concepts. Ability to compare information carefully across a Warehouse management system such as Oracle Warehouse Management and a Transportation management system such as Descartes. Comfortable learning structured workflows for reviewing requests, entering updates, tracking open items, and routing questions. Clear written and verbal communication for concise updates with warehouse contacts, carrier contacts, and operations teammates. Ability to prioritize incoming requests while maintaining accurate item details, quantity information, and handoff notes. Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet private workspace, with availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times. Authorization to work in the United States. Fully remote work supporting inventory coordination from a desk-based home workspace. Structured onboarding and training on Oracle Warehouse Management, Descartes, queue workflows, and inventory update practices. Regular check-ins with the inventory operations team lead to discuss priorities, questions, and workflow progress.
