This position offers a consistent weekday schedule in an ambulatory surgery setting. The assignment involves caring for adult and geriatric patients. The average daily census is 14 patients, with an average of 14 cases per day. You will work in a unit with one operating room. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. Communication within the team follows the SBAR method. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Weekends are not required, and there are no rotating shifts. The role requires cardiac monitoring skills and adherence to infection control protocols. Candidates should have experience in circumcisions, cystoscopies, and vasectomies. Wound management and documentation skills are also expected. Epic experience is preferred but not mandatory.
