About the Position

Job Title: Vascular Sonographer Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 32 Experience: Minimum 2 years of dedicated vascular ultrasound experience License: BLS, ARDMS RVT Registered Vascular Technologist OR CCI Registered Vascular Sonographer Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: EPIC experience required Registered Vascular Technologist or Registered Vascular Sonographer certification Description: This position involves performing vascular ultrasound examinations for both outpatient and inpatient clinics. The sonographer will be responsible for assessing patients of all ages with various vascular conditions. Common patient diagnoses include PVD, CAD, heart failure, CVA, venous insufficiency, and stenosis. The candidate must have experience with carotid, upper/lower arterial and venous assessments, DVT/reflux, and vein mapping. Additional skills should include the ability to perform renal, mesenteric, AAA, and endograft assessments, as well as segmental pressures and hemodialysis graft evaluations. Experience with specific equipment such as Philips Epic Elite and Parks PVR/segmental pressure machines is necessary.
