Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients, including high-risk OB cases and a culturally diverse patient population
• Circulate on cesarean sections as required
• Manage and support a unit with an average daily census of 15–20 patients across 11 rooms and 15 beds
• Document patient care and clinical information using Epic electronic health records
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities nearby as needed to meet staffing requirements
• Work weekends and at least 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) as required

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid California RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness and ability to float within hospital and to nearby affiliate facilities
• Ability to work within a 50-mile local radius policy
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Post-partum nursing experience strongly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are accepted
