Room Attendant

The Housekeeper is a critical position in the everyday operation of Chico Hot Springs. Housekeepers provide exceptional guest service by performing all cleaning tasks required to make their assigned area "Guest Ready". This person must be a team-player, service oriented, and willing to enthusiastically engage guests.

Position Functions

• Understands and upholds Chico's Mission, Employment Guidelines, Policies, Procedures, and Standards of Conduct.
• Understands and promotes Chico culture by engaging all others with a positive enthusiastic attitude at all times
• Daily cleaning of guest rooms and hotel common areas.
• Is responsible for laundry services, including operating machines and folding.
• Daily re-supply/stocking carts and supply closets.
• Has complete knowledge of Chico Hot Springs history and property.
• Keeping housekeeping areas and vehicles clean.
• Is responsible for reporting to housekeeping office at end of each shift.
• Follows Chico's Safety and Sanitation standards.
• Is responsible for adhering to dress code and personal hygiene standards.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Able to reach, bend, stoop, kneel and squat.
• Able to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work with full use of both hands.
• Able to understand and follow verbal instructions.
• Able to work in heat over 80 degrees F.
• Exposed to cleaning products, laundry products and chemicals.
• Able to work exposed to natural elements (wind, sun, rain, heat, cold).
• Able to go up and down stairs with and without carrying items.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Able to work with protective eyewear, latex gloves.
