Work Environment

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work remotely, providing flexibility and work-life balance while participating in a team-oriented culture. Regular feedback will be provided through individual supervision, ensuring continuous professional growth. The standard work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional evening or weekend hours to accommodate specific client needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing a caseload of clients, establishing meaningful therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.
  • Conducting regular sessions to assess clients' progress, discussing stability, upcoming appointments, and planning for discharge when appropriate.
  • Creating, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and professional assessments for each client.
  • Facilitating comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs effectively.
  • Providing weekly individual therapy sessions, using evidence-based techniques and approaches tailored to each client.
  • Actively participating in individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and maintain compliance with best practices.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care approaches and optimize client outcomes.
  • Emphasizing a growth mindset, seeking continuous improvement in both therapeutic techniques and personal development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients range from young children to adults, all facing varying degrees of mental health challenges. Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field.
  • An active, unrestricted, and independent LPC license in Texas.
  • At least one year of post-graduate clinical experience in an outpatient setting.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum qualifications are essential, we prefer candidates with a solid understanding of:

  • Direct psychotherapy services to diverse individuals and families.
  • Conducting thorough intake assessments.
  • Familiarity with technology, including Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and Pimsy, to efficiently manage client documentation and scheduling.
