The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing advocacy plans, representing the company in policy discussions, and providing strategic updates to business stakeholders. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong bipartisan stakeholder network, expertise in advocacy and issue management, and the ability to translate complex policy issues for both business and government audiences. The Vice President will also be expected to educate external stakeholders on the company's corporate strategy and advocate for relevant state grants and incentives. Applicants for the Vice President of State Government Relations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and 10-15+ years' of experience in state government relations and related private-sector roles. The role demands a candidate with a background in agriculture, biofuels, and nutrition, as well as experience in the corporate sector. A high level of interpersonal, communication, organizational, and management skills is essential, as is the ability to work across functional disciplines.
