Job Overview Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, treating patients, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Location Needham, MA Job ID 2179 Number of Openings 1 Responsibilities Provide evaluation and treatment to patients. Document treatments in accordance with physician orders, agency policy, and patient needs. Perform patient evaluations, selecting appropriate diagnostic material. Develop care plans with patients and identify patient‑centered goals. Advance professional growth by attending and presenting educational experiences, in‑services, conferences, and seminars to the team. Assist in supervising assistants, Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs), students, and interns as per Medicare Condition of Participation. Schedule patients and staff; participate in discipline‑specific projects such as chart audits, QI data collection, peer review programs, student programs, and CHHA training. Provide direct patient care. Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and complete visit documentation within 24 hours. Follow all Emergency Management Plans and actively participate in fire and evacuation drills. Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements. Comply with OSHA safety regulations and all applicable health, safety, and environmental laws. Required Education and Experience Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Professional license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Physical Therapist in a professional setting. Proficiency with computer software programs. Required Skills and Abilities Maintain confidentiality and strong customer support skills. Comply with HIPAA protection safeguards. Work independently with limited supervision. Professional interaction with a wide variety of cultural and socio‑economic backgrounds. Deal tactfully with team members, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public. Effective communication in English, especially in resident areas. Attend and participate in in‑service educational classes, Healthcare Academy, and staff meetings as directed. Compensation $52–55 per hour (individual compensation within this range is based on qualifications, experience, and skills). Background Investigation Background investigation clearance required.
