As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to the location, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site-specific procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of authorized areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions. Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and emergency responders, and promptly document and report security-related incidents. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
