A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Veterans Facility – Full-Time or PRN

• Shift Options:  Choose the shift that works best for you — 1st Shift (6:00 AM–6:30 PM) or 3rd Shift (6:30 PM–6:00 AM). Our rotating block schedule ensures two consecutive days off each week, with every other weekend required.
• Pay Rate - $44.45 an hour paid weekly
• Benefits – active after 90 days
• Employment Type : Full-Time or PRN options available

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by the physician
• Administer medications in various forms, including oral, enteral, parenteral, and suppository medications.
• Perform treatments such as sterile and aseptic wound cleaning and dressing, postural drainage and percussion, tracheostomy care, gastrostomy and jejunostomy care, and catheter care.
• Observe residents and report the effectiveness of medications and treatments.
• Ensure adequate supplies and medications are available on the assigned unit.
• Receive and communicate information regarding residents' medical, social, functional, and other needs.
• Participate in receiving and giving shift reports.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure appropriate and coordinated care.
• Complete initial admission nursing assessments for newly admitted residents.
• Assist with the development of Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments, quarterly reviews, and individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation, including diagnoses, observations, treatments, and resident progress.
• Participate in the facility's Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
• Attend and actively participate in staff meetings.
• Respond appropriately and professionally to medical emergencies and resident health concerns.

Requirements

• Licensed LPN
• Long term care experience preferred
