Work Description:
Provide six (10) Gas/Hybrid Calibrators to work with the Ford team to deliver 26MY-28MY Gas/Hybrid Calibrations and support previous MY programs. Calibration team is responsible for development and signoff of Emissions, OBD, and Driveabiltity features and attributes. Ford is requesting Gas/Hybrid calibrators to perform the following responsibilities: (examples of work to be performed, may vary based on program scope)

Ford is requesting Gas/Hybrid calibrators to perform the following responsibilities: (examples of work to be performed, may vary based on program scope)
- Chassis Cert Emissions Calibraiton - Daily responsibility for chassis dyno vehicle testing and analysis. Engineer would be responsible for maintaining vehicle test schedule, submitting test requests, supporting vehicle level testing, analyzing emissions and ATI data files, modifying calibration parameters to optimize emissions, and report out on status to Ford signoff criteria.
- OBD Emissions monitor development and self-cert - Engineer would be responsible for maintaining vehicle test schedule, submitting test requests, supporting vehicle level testing, analyzing emissions and ATI data files, modifying calibration parameters to ensure on-cycle OBD demonstration, and report out on status to Ford signoff criteria.
- OBD Component Monitors and Code DV - Engineer would be responsible for collecting data, analyzing ATI data files, and modifying calibration parameters to ensure proper fault detection and report out status to Ford sign-off criteria.
- Base engine calibration development and sign-off - Engineer would be responsible for performing the assigned feature DV plan, analyzing ATI data files, processing data against MOS criteria, and presenting results against Ford sign-off criteria. Examples of base features are Spark/Knock control, Airchage control, Cold Start Warmup, Torque Control, etc...
- Transmission/Driveline Calibration - Develop and maintain calibration DVM's and DVP&R using in vehicle or dynamometer calibration data as appropriate. Engineer would be responsible for maintaining vehicle test schedule, submitting test requests, supporting vehicle level testing, analyzing ATI data files and modifying calibration parameters to optimize transmission/driveline attributes, and report out on status to Ford signoff criteria. Collaborate with engineers to develop control systems and calibration approaches for future programs, including new hybrid architectures. Perform analysis of quality data (warranty and customer satisfaction surveys) and connected vehicle information to drive quality improvements for current and future products.
- Functional Safety (FuSa) Calibration Engineer - Engineer would be responsible for maintaining vehicle test schedule, submitting test requests, supporting vehicle level testing, analyzing ATI data files and modifying calibration parameters to meet FuSa sign-off requirements. Perform in vehicle DV against internal Ford FuSa sign-off requirements. Track status of DV to completion, document completion of DV in EDMS, and report out status to Ford signoff criteria.
