Senior Consultant – Transaction Services At BakerTilly, we are seeking to add a Senior Consultant to our growing Transaction Services practice. In this role you will provide due‑diligence and transaction advisory services to a diverse client base, including privately held and publicly traded companies, private‑equity funds, banks, and business‑development firms. Responsibilities Interact directly with Partners on matters related to client and engagement management. Collect data, review documents, and prepare quality‑of‑earnings reports. Conduct research and financial analysis of target companies. Execute due diligence for both buy‑side, sell‑side, and corporate‑finance transactions. Communicate with clients to ensure delivery of exceptional client service. Participate in marketing and recruiting activities of the firm. Leverage opportunities for career development and advancement within the transaction‑advisory group. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA designation preferred. At least three (3) years of relevant experience, ideally in a mid‑ to large‑size professional services firm performing audits and related services. At least two (2) years of transaction services / due‑diligence experience highly preferred. Professional designations or candidacy (CFE, CFA, etc.) and/or an advanced degree are a plus. High motivation, initiative, and positive attitude. Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities. Intermediate modeling and Excel skills, experience conducting complex financial analysis, and ability to generate data‑driven insights. Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication, experience presenting analyses to management, and ability to lead and drive initiatives. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel in various industries. Comfortable interacting with senior‑level client personnel, including supporting the preparation of and participating in executive briefings. Compensation and Benefits The pay rate range for this position is $96,290 – $144,450, depending on experience and qualifications.
