Tech Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly experienced Certified Surgical Technician (CST) for a surgical tech role requiring at least three years of current CST experience, including precepting, endoscopy, and total joint replacement. The candidate must be flexible to float to multiple sites and work scheduled blocks, including major holidays.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform sterile techniques and assist in surgical procedures across various specialties.
  
  
• 
  Maintain surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring readiness and sterility.
  
  
• 
  Support surgeons and surgical teams during operations, adhering to safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Float to BMC locations (Crane and Endoscopy) as needed to support procedural needs.
  
  
• 
  Document all procedures accurately and maintain detailed patient care records.
  
  
• 
  Comply with facility policies regarding scheduling, time off, and shift requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold current NBSTSA certification; NECT or equivalent certifications not accepted.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of three years of recent CST experience in total joint replacement.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate precepting experience in surgical settings.
  
  
• 
  Show proficiency in endoscopy procedures and support.
  
  
• 
  Be able to operate independently in a small community setting with own vehicle.
  
  
• 
  Have active American Heart Association BLS certification.
