Building Maintenance Engineer

We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. Responsibilities: • Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff • Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues • Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures • Work with a variety of tools hammers and screwdrivers, indicators and edge finders, drills, wrenches, and other maintenance tools of the trade • React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary • Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance • The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required • Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred Compensation: $23 Hourly
