Description
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing standardized tests and observational methods.
  • Create tailored treatment plans targeting both immediate objectives and long-range communication, cognitive, or swallowing ambitions.
  • Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on communication strategies, language enhancement, fluency, voice management, and swallowing techniques.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop unified care plans.
  • Provide education to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond clinical interactions.
  • Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies to ensure a seamless care experience across the continuum of treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and prompt documentation compliant with state, federal, and institutional policies.
  • Stay updated with advancements in the field through ongoing education and peer collaboration.
Education
  • Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already certified by ASHA.
Certifications
  • State certification as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

  • Expertise in evidence-based methods for treating diverse age groups, with a profound grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills when interacting with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary care teams.

  • Proficient in electronic medical records and maintaining documentation protocols.
