CT Technologist

Position Overview

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans and assisting in the diagnosis of patients. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail to ensure the quality of imaging results.

Key Responsibilities

Perform CT scans according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including explaining the process and ensuring comfort.
Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance.
Document patient information and scan results accurately in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to provide exceptional patient care.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiologic technology and imaging techniques.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
Current certification in CT technology and appropriate state licensure.
Strong understanding of anatomy, patient care, and imaging techniques.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Schedule

This position will require working the night shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
